We have received reports that some videos, though they record, fail to upload to the Mediasite server.
The issue manifests in the following way: you launch Mediasite Desktop Recorder from the Mediasite interface, record and upload your first video. Then, when you go to click "record another" from the Mediasite Desktop Recorder, the second video records but fails to upload.
We are currently working with Mediasite to address the issue and will release updates as we learn more.
In the meantime, we recommend re-launching the Media Desktop Recorder each time you attempt to record a new video.
If you did not relaunch your Desktop Recorder before recording a second video and your recording did not upload to the Mediasite server, it should still be located on your Desktop. You can manually upload the recording.
Click the Upload button at the top of the Desktop Recorder and select Manage from the drop-down list. If you have a recording that needs to be uploaded, click the Upload button to the right of the recording's name.
