Scheduled presentations are, in essence, placeholder presentation frames. To upload an external media source to a scheduled presentation, you must first create the placeholder frame.
This means that begin to upload media (Create Presentation > Upload Media), you choose Save and Upload Later instead of uploading a recording at that time. See Create a Presentation Using an External Source for details.
Uploading to a Scheduled Presentation
Login to the MyMediasite Portal.
Choose the presentation to which you would like to upload a recording. The Summary page opens.
Click Upload New Video. The Desktop Recorder launches.
Locate and choose the recording you would like to upload and click Open.
Supported file types include: FLV, MP4, MP3, MOV, WMV and AVI.
Your presentation will appear in your Mediasite portal. You may need to refresh your screen to see that the upload is being processed.
Upload time varies depending on the recorded material and number of jobs already in the server's transcoding queue. To be sure your presentation is viewable, please check back:
