To connect a laptop to the classroom projector, you will need a VGA cable for video and a mini audio cable, if audio is a component of the presentation. Classrooms without an installed computer have a VGA cable with an attached audio cable provided. In rooms with installed computers, instructors will need to provide their own VGA and/or audio cables.
Below the touch screen or on the side of the podium, you will see this series of inputs:
The VGA cable connects to the input labeled COMPUTER, and the audio cable connects to the input labeled AUDIO. Connecting to the MONITOR input will not work.
The other end of the cable will connect to the VGA output and the headphone out (indicated by the small headphone icon) on the side of the laptop:
